Workshops
I love teaching art and sharing tips on techniques and materials with others.
I typically offer two online 5 week workshops a year and also some in-person one-day workshops. Students who have taken any workshop are also eligible to join the Art Lab series, an ongoing, weekly drop-in skills building group.
If you are finding me from a guild, club, group, or academic institution, please note I can customize any of the workshops you see below. Please contact me directly if you would like to create a wonderful artistic learning experience.

Hand/Mind Connection: Healing Transformation Through Art
The expression “admiring one’s own handiwork” speaks to an important truth about our ability to make ourselves happy working with our hands. Psychologists are now recognizing something artists have intuitively known—we think with our hands as much as our brains. Small creative gestures on a daily basis can help relieve stress and self doubt.
Workshop Overview
This workshop guides participants to channel artistic engagement in order to connect with self in a positive and nurturing way. I will take you through guided exercises and techniques to help you work intuitively. By tapping into imagery and symbols that are significant to you, you will build a creative narrative and create a piece of art that is unique to you and your journey. This course is suitable for all levels.
